Leah’s Daughter’s Words

{January 20, 2009}   Walking Against the Wind

My life. I am grateful for it. I like it. I love it. Certain circumstances though? They suck. However, this where perseverance, endurance, and longsuffering kick in. Sometimes it is so easy to forget that longsuffering is a fruit of the Spirit. It is so easy to pursue love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and even self-control, but longsuffering, just hearing the word suffer and then the time implications isn’t pretty, but it is among the list so here I am. I know it’ll all be well worth it. So I will walk against the wind and deal with the things thatt might fly in my eyes in the meantime, but still walk forward.
